This week it is about keeping your neck warm with the windy wet weather we seem to be having lately. We have the crocheted colour wave cowl, the knitted simplest snood and the simple snood. Perfect little projects for these darker evenings.

Colour Wave Cowl
Heather Firby designed this fun cowl using baby alpaca and silk 4-Ply. The colour wave cowl is worked in the round, with less sewing and weaving! I can’t wait to see the colour options you all choose. I would go for parchment and forget me not, I might have to get my hooks out, I feel inspired.

Simply the Simplest Snood
Monica Russel created this beauty, it takes just four balls of our British alpaca double knitting, two of each colour and in this picture speckledy violet and speckledy gold were used. You could knit this up in an evening with your feet up.

The Simple Snood
Another favourite from Monica. The simple snood only uses two balls of superfine DK. It has a lacy feel to it with the yarn over trick. A must-have in any wardrobe this winter.

Christmas Mystery Kits
If, like me, you are always on the lookout for Christmas presents, we have something that might fit the bill for your woolly friends and relatives.
Our Christmas Mystery Tins come in knitting or crochet versions and in double knitting, 4-Ply or chunky as well. They contain a pattern for a winter accessory, enough of our UK Alpaca luxury yarn for the pattern, a project bag and several festive goodies. We are sure they will make a great present.
