Still unpacking after the Stitch Festival at the Business Design Centre in Islington. Not quite as many customers as 2024 but still a good show. The added value comes from meeting up with oldest and middle sons and seeing two of my grandchildren.

Meanwhile in Staffordshire the British Alpaca Society National Show was on. It is an unfortunate clash but two of our intermediate girls were there, shown by their new owner. Classical MileEnd Mignon and Margot did well finishing third and second in their respective classes against stiff opposition. New and old owners were very pleased as getting in the top three is an achievement at a show where 500 alpacas are competing.

We’ve been clearing up a very overgrown part of the yard. So far I have successfully sold 30 redundant paving slabs. Very pleased with myself although there are many more things to get rid of!
