The yarn comes in six shades, speckledy red, blue, violet, gold, green and the natural that is a sort of grey brown taupe and is the base colour for the other five. The speckledy is a melange of several different colours of alpaca fleece, black, brown, grey and fawn, all blended together with 25% wool and overdyed to give a heathery, autumnal look. The next delivery was the natural chunky parchment which has been out of stock for far too long. Anyway it’s back and we are waiting for some of the dyed shades to wing their way to Devon…

And then three pallets of socks arrived, almost six thousand pairs. They are knitted in the natural parchment yarn and arrive inside out as they are going off to be dyed. We should be fully stocked up for the autumn and winter season with lounge, town and country and walking socks in some great colours.
