All are cria have been born now, 25 of them, 13 girls and 12 boys so almost 50:50. They have to have jabs at four weeks and eight weeks so most weekends there are a few more to do. Meanwhile we are halter training our last group of yearling boys that go to their new home today.
I have had a couple of energetic walks with my son and his children, aged four and six. One on the Braunton Burrows featured loads of cows and calves, motorsport bikes charging up and down the dunes and a few military jeeps.
We were much more organized for the second at Dawlish Warren as throwing themselves into the sea was bound to happen. And we remembered the sandcastle building kit!
We turned back at Groyne 8 and walked through the nature reserve where this wonderful Great Green Bush Cricket alighted on my hand and stayed there unperturbed. Very exciting.
