It’s been all about socks this week at UK Alpaca. We’ve sent 1,000 kilos of super soft sock yarn off to the sock knitters to be turned into our popular alpaca socks.
That’s the equivalent weight of 8 adult alpaca and will produce thousands of pairs of socks.
Sock Yarn
The perfect sock yarn for your hand knitting project. These lovely yarns are 75% superfine alpaca 25% nylon and designed to give you super soft handing socks but with the strength required to give long lasting wear when worn with shoes.
Presented in a 100g skein as a 3/12Nm 4-Ply yarn and 400m length per skein.

Packaged as a present or to treat yourself, our kit tin comes with the pattern and yarn to knit these light as air to wear, soft and warm as toast socks – plus some added extras!
Available in two sizes, small for shoe size 4-6 and large for shoe size 7-12.
