What a lovely hot couple of weeks it has been. The farm is blooming and cria are coming thick and fast. As it’s been such glorious weather, we think you might need something to keep you warm in the cool evenings or just to cover your shoulders in the heat of the day.
We have three beautiful kits for you this week, the Voe Shawl, the Spring Shrug and the Snow Shrug.
Voe Shawl
Ruth Morris created this lightweight shawl using our superfine 4-Ply. This shawl is worked from the top down, both the body and lace edge are grounded by a solid garter stitch. It is like being hugged by a soft cloud.
Spring Shrug
This shrug was designed by Chrissy Smith in our baby silk DK but it will work in any of our double-knitting yarns. The shrug features a seed and stem patterning that can be made into two styles depending on how you sew it together. It also offers an option for a collar and a picot or moss-stitched hem. A very versatile project.
Snow Shrug
Another stunning pattern from Chrissy using our DK yarns. This shrug is sleeveless and has a bobble design along the edging. Something that will go with any outfit all year round.
