What a busy couple of weeks. We have had rain, snow, ice and now some sunshine. Things are starting to defrost here on the farm. We had a delivery of some stock, we now have superfine parchment and sandstone DK, blush pink, coral baby silk DK, french navy and lavender baby silk 4-Ply all back in Yarnia.

Pearly Queen or Cloud Hopper socks
What do you use sock yarns for? I don’t knit socks but I have purchased sock yarns and crocheted shawls with them, it produces a lovely texture and drape.
With this in mind, why not use our scrumptious sock yarn to knit yourself a pair of socks or make a special shawl?
We have two patterns, the Cloud Hopper by L B Handknits, a light-as-air sock design that will keep your feet cosy and Pearly Queen by Ruth Morris, worked from side to side in an old stitch called the purse stitch. Why not try both?

Orange Beauty
Julie Harris created this stunning crescent-shaped shawl using our Suri and silk blend 4-Ply. It’s worked in bands of lace and stocking stitch, to produce a gorgeous drape and feel.
