Yarn, Rain and Weanlings
Last weekend we were at Unravel at The Maltings in Farnham. It was a three-day show, takings were up and a good number of last year’s customers dropped by to show us what they had made with our yarns, always a warm glow moment.
Our stand backed on to the bleachers, good hanging space for sample garments, with StudioEVIG next door and Eden Cottage Yarns opposite so plenty of people to talk to. Several years ago I bought this cat from Eliza Conway, who was in the opposite corner to us. I am very fond of him, or is it a her?

It was of course raining and much colder when we got home. But we had a dry spell during the day on Wednesday and another on Thursday. Kept the weanlings in as we had to choose a show team for the South of England alpaca show and work out which of these little ones we would like to sell.
We managed to do it in the end and found nine boys who hopefully will end up as pet males in loving homes. My photos are not that good as all they wanted to do was eat grass!
