Using Alpaca Yarn

We are pleased to offer our unique UK Alpaca yarns made from the finest alpaca fleece harvested in the UK.  All our yarns are processed and spun in the UK to the highest quality to provide a uniform, soft, lustrous worsted spun yarn.

We produce double knit yarn in natural un-dyed alpaca shades blended with fine British Bluefaced Leicester wool, to provide extra volume and spring to the alpaca.  We also produce a coloured range of double knit yarns from dyed natural alpaca blended with Bluefaced Leicester wool.

For the ultimate in luxury knitwear we produce an ultra soft alpaca yarn, comprising of baby alpaca and merino in a natural buttermilk shade and a range of dyed pastel shades.

We also produce a 4ply alpaca sock yarn, blended with merino and nylon for extra strength and a small range of machine knit yarn on cone.

Our yarns can be knitted to most double knit and 4ply patterns, although we recommend knitting a tension square before embarking on any project.  We do also have a small range of patterns available, specifically designed for our UK Alpaca yarns.
