UK Alpaca's luxury yarns are made from the fleeces of alpacas farmed in Britain. One of the 'noble fibers alpaca is prized for its silky feel, weightlessness and warmth and comes in a variety of natural shades.
All our yarns are processed at the traditional mills in the north of England and have traceable provenance back to British alpaca farmers.
We buy fleece from alpaca breeders in the UK, grade it at our farm in Devon and process it into fully worsted hand knit and commercial yarns. Our yarns are made to the highest specification and are of a consistent quality.
